Welcome to Community Connection
Community Connection is one of a growing number of Family Enrichment Centers (FEC) designed through collaborations with communities across New York City. Family Enrichment Centers provide a warm, home-like space where neighbors can gather to cultivate new connections, express their creativity, and explore their community and culture. Community Connection is open to all residents of Southeast Queens, free of charge – everyone is welcome!
Our Approach
The best way to understand what is unique about Community Connection is to come to visit us. Located at 203-12 Linden Blvd. in St. Albans, Queens, everything about Community Connection has been co-created with our neighbors in Southeast Queens, from the paint color on the walls to the events that happen every week. Community Connection staff work closely with community members to co-design offerings, supports, resources, and opportunities.
Whether you have an idea for a workshop you’d like to lead, are looking for something fun to do to connect with new people, or need some assistance to solve a problem, we want to hear from you!
